Foreign Language Community

Respecting other languages and cultures is important for a number of reasons. Firstly, it allows us to understand and connect with people from different backgrounds.

By showing respect for the ways in which other people communicate and express themselves, we can build relationships and break down cultural barriers.

Secondly, it helps to promote inclusivity and tolerance in society. When we show respect for the languages and cultures of others, we are acknowledging that everyone has something valuable to contribute and that we are all part of the same global community.

Finally, respect for other languages and cultures helps to preserve linguistic and cultural diversity, which is important for the health and vibrancy of any community.

By showing respect for other languages and cultures, we can create a more harmonious and understanding world.

The objective of our Foreign Language Community is to create this and develop a true appreciation of these students in our school.

Here at Hassenbrook we have a range of cultural celebration events and regular meet ups for students within this community to collaboratively develop awareness and appreciation in the school.
